On the issue of corruption, the DP William Ruto stated that the ongoing selective prosecution of individuals and politicization of the same will hinder the war on Graft. The DP also said that those labelling accusations against others have no morality and authority to engage in the corruption debate.
He further added that he had no problem with Raila Odinga and was is support of the handshake. He also dismissed those who indicated that he had personal interest in the Dam project and insisted that the dams were part of the Jubilee agenda that he and the president advocated its construction.
He finally said that there were mandated agencies that are competent enough to fight corruption without influence or direction from any individual.
