Sepsis is causing morbidity and mortality of hospitalised patients,although technology and informatics push towards interventions in sepsis protocol through randomization and change management.Whereby an alert criteria automatically generates a text via paging system to the crisis nurse and the primary treatment team through the text page which displays patient’s bed location and detects most vital signs creating a codified clinical workflow downstream the alert.
Performance improvement initiative helps in changing clinical behavior of a patient for this is helpful in reducing hospital mortality and also helps in early recognition and diagnosis of sepsis.Also through this,Sepsis bundle initial antibiotics protocol helps a patient undergo therapy with any level of sepsis and this helps in reducing sepsis as antibiotics are administered to an early age of sepsis .
Through information technology ,local evidence is made easily making it helpful in provision of excisting guideline and critical universal care in regards to global trends in sepsis treatment through study and invention of newer antibiotics and treatment methods.therefore this helps in changing clinical behavior of a patient.
Literature from high income settings shows that countries with health care basic services are still less developed when it comes to universal healthcare coverage.Thus,this remains questionable wheather to invest in intensive care unit facilities or establish local health care services,and therefore this is expensive and strains treatment and use of sepsis protocol making expensive to patients,limiting universal health care services .(Kwizera,2012)
