Covid19 has been such a terrifying pandemic since last year March and one of the affected areas was the Education Sector. The reports from the Teachers Service Commission indicate that forty-four teachers succumbed to Covid last year and this created a gap for the advertisement of the positions of the teachers. This is so sad but the good news is Covid Vaccine is here, The Teachers Commission Chief Executive Nancy Macharia, informed the press that the vaccination has began and it will begin with teachers who are 50 years and above, this is a great move to ensure that Covid19 is prevented and safety learning is offered in schools. The major emphasis is on adherence to the COvid19 protocols and we hope that the wearing of masks, sanitization process will be practiced. We wish all teachers good health as they educate students in both primary,secondary,colleges and university institutions.
